The Group

Liquid Confidence Chapter 3"Little Matty's got a crush." Max said in a sing-song voice as we approached the counter. After much protest the girls finally gave us an order, and were now sitting in a booth talking.
"Excuse me?" I gave him a strange look as he placed the drink orders. "You make it rather obvious." He leaned on the counter, smiling. I crossed my arms. "sure." I glanced back at her. She shook her head as her face grew redder. Carter, on the other hand, was nodding and laughing. I looked back at max who was still staring at me. "What, hypothetically speaking, if I did happen to like Hayden?"

I smiled as I remember how I had first met Hayden. She was such a shy girl.
.flashback.
"Here you go." I couldn't stop the smile from appearing.
The girl on the other side of the merch table blushed and took the shirt from my hand.
"Thank you." Her smiled caused my chest to tighten slightly. She spoke softly, barely audible over the music that echoed through the entire room. I had noticed, for an American girl, she had a strange accent. It hand hints of British, German and slightly Australian. It intrigued me. I watched as her and her friend talked. Liquid Confidence Chapter One.I pulled on my shirt as a smile slowly formed on my lips. Matt had been watching as I took off my water soaked shirt to replace it. Luckily, my tank top had stayed dry though it rained rather hard.
"What?" I asked as my cheeks reddened. I hated when he watched me so intently.
"Wonder where that shirt came from." He smirked.
"No clue." I laughed as I tugged on the bottom. I had gotten the shirt the same night I had first met him. It was a vibrant purple with "take off your colours written in white letters.
